I wanted to tell everyone a little bit about a local designer here in Lexington, Kentucky. In our town we live and breathe two things (at least for the most part)...Kentucky Basketball (now football) and Horses....The usual attire for a day at the races is a spectacular dress, and a fabulous hat! I'm sure you have seen the women across the country dressed up for the races.
Here in Lexington we have our own little secret, Ms. Anne Sawyer. Anne has been designing hats since she was just a young girl. With the help of a degree in Management and Economics, from Northwood University in 1991, and her extreme love for hats, she created her own line, and her own store, Fabulous Hats inc.
Anne specializes in Fabulous Hats, and I don't mean the usual hats you see at the mall. She has been featured on the NBC Today Show, in People Magazine, and has been fortunate enough to work with a list of stars! Some of her clients include Mrs. Barbara Bush, Mrs. Laura Bush and even Jessica Simpson just to mention a few.
